1. Band of Brothers (2001)
Okay so it's not technically a movie but it is still worthy to be on this list. I love war movies and historical movies so this section was hard to narrow down to just five. This series is amazing in that it shows actual interviews with the real-life characters. It was awesome to hear what the had to say about the war. I owe them my life and will be eternally greatful for their sacrifice.
2. Saving Private Ryan (1998)
I feel the same way about this movie as I do about The Band of Brothers series. Excellent adaptation of WWII. The brutality and pain these men went through is unbelievable.
3. Angela's Ashes (1999)
Read the book and then found out there was a movie about the book. A wonderful movie about the pain and suffering in Ireland during the depression seen through the eyes of a child.
4. Walk the Line (2005)
I love Johnny Cash.
5. The Other Boleyn Girl (2008)
I love anything to do with 16th century England. I loved Elizabeth and it was neat to see the life of her mother and father played out.
